Job summary

bioMérieux seeks a Senior Scientist, Sensor Chemistry to evaluate, select, and optimize materials for colorimetric sensors and overall system performance. You will design experiments, analyze complex data, and support product development in a regulated environment.

Lead cross-functional collaborations, ensure quality documentation, and comply with FDA/ISO standards while advancing testing protocols and risk assessments. This onsite role is based in St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or closely related field.
• 2 years of professional experience in a regulated lab for Product Development.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot materials chemistry issues in AST systems; report findings cross-functionally.
• Develop and apply computational tools to analyze large experimental datasets.
• Conduct data reviews and support verification, validation, and manufacturing transfer.
