McKinsey & Company is seeking a senior scientific AI leader to work with client service teams and a global knowledge network. You will contribute deep expertise in proteomics, protein engineering, computational chemistry, and AI to transform client R&D.

Qualifications

• Proven mastery of fundamental concepts in computational proteomics, protein engineering, computational chemistry, and related disciplines.
• Deep understanding of AI methods and analytical tech: deep learning, foundation models, Bayesian modeling, causal inference, and related fields.
• Ability to develop new-to-world solution blueprints and decompose into incremental releases.
• Track record of innovation at AI/science intersection.
• Experience managing direct reports or complex stakeholder networks.
• Leadership and engagement in external ecosystem via publications, conferences, or industry connections.
• Ability to translate complex methods for non-technical executives and guide stakeholders on value capture.
