Job summary

Google Quantum AI in the United States is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to design and simulate superconducting digital logic circuits (SFQ and AQFP) for qubit control and readout.

You will collaborate with qubit designers and fabrication teams, utilize advanced IC design tools and 3D electromagnetic modeling to optimize signal integrity, reduce crosstalk, and help scale a cryogenic control electronics stack for large-scale quantum processors.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Experience with superconducting logic families (RSFQ, ERSFQ, RQL, HFQ, AQFP).
• Experience performing tape-out of superconducting IC chips.
• Publications or conference presentations in related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate SFQ/AQFP logic for qubit control and readout.
