Job summary

Qualifications

• BS with 5+ years of relevant work experience or MVSc/MS/M.Pharm with 2+ years in pharmacology/toxicology.
• Understands basic concepts of hazard identification and risk assessment for off-target mitigation.
• Familiar with early drug discovery processes.
• Experience with data integrity and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate analytics for diverse audiences.
• Presents analytical content concisely to non-technical stakeholders and influences safety profiling outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-vitro biochemical and cell-based experiments to support go/no-go decisions.
• Maintain cell lines and support ongoing experiments.
• Independently develop assays to implement project strategy.
• Experience with standing alone automation and readers (Felix, ECHO, µCELL, Envision, Microbeta).
• Communicate with stakeholders on experimental design, data quality and timelines.
• Participate in cross-functional early safety screening and profiling collaborations.
