Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking a Senior Scientist/Project Manager for Minnesota, North Dakota, or La Crosse (WI). This role leads environmental permitting and NEPA-related work within a multidisciplinary team, mentors staff, and manages projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

Located in a network of offices with opportunities for field work and regional travel up to 10%. The position emphasizes client service, technical leadership, and collaboration across environmental consulting services.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of direct environmental review, permitting, and regulatory compliance experience in surface water resources.

Responsibilities

• Support clients and project teams with environmental compliance and permitting needs.
• Lead Natural Resources services within a multidisciplinary team on projects.
• Mentor and train junior staff and provide technical training.
• Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget, balancing tasks.
• Develop and review project proposals ensuring scope, schedule and cost are met.
• Occasional field work and regional/national travel up to 10%.
