Job summary

First Quality Home Care Products LLC in Trumbull, CT, is seeking a Sr. Scientist – Performance/Analytical Testing to support our R&D team.

You will develop and validate analytical methods for cleaning performance across Home Care formats and oversee internal/external testing programs. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field and 5–10 years' experience in methods development, technical writing, and cross-functional collaboration with Regulatory, Sales & Marketing,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in methods development and technical writing.
Experience working cross-functionally with Regulatory, Sales & Marketing, and Legal teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead development of laboratory methods that predict consumer response for Home Care products.
Organize and manage demonstrations for internal and external customer visits.
Schedule cleaning performance testing for samples and formulations.
Maintain preventive maintenance for analytical instruments and labs.
Coordinate with third-party labs for external testing and audits.
