We are seeking a Scientist III to join our team and support laboratory work for pharmaceutical projects. This role involves performing analytical testing, developing and validating methods, and ensuring product quality in a cGMP environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as Karl Fischer, thermal analysis (TGA/DSC), IR/Raman spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffractometry, and particle size analysis. You will also assist in pharmaceutical development efforts, conduct stability and release testing, and generate technical reports for data presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests to support analytical testing for pharmaceutical products.
- Use and apply a variety of analytical techniques, including Karl Fischer, thermal analysis (TGA/DSC), IR/Raman spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffractometry, and particle size analysis.
- Develop and validate analytical methods to support GMP stability, release testing, and pharmaceutical development.
- Conduct testing to evaluate product stability and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Present data and prepare clear, concise technical reports documenting test results.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and provide problem-solving support in the lab.
- Evaluate and recommend new instrumentation or analytical techniques for implementation in the lab.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
- Relevant working experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on analytical method development, validation, and testing in a cGMP environment.
- Hands-on experience with analytical methods such as Karl Fischer, TGA/DSC, IR/Raman spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffractometry, and particle size analysis.
- Familiarity with lab software and information systems (e.g., Timao, TRIOS, Omnic, E-Workbook, LabWare LIMS).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with laboratory instruments and equipment.
