Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a hands-on QC Scientist to own analytical quality oversight for peptide API manufacturing and sterile formulation development at a fast-paced startup. You will qualify methods, review specifications, and partner with Quality, Operations, and outside labs to keep timelines on track.

The ideal candidate has 3–7+ years in QC/analytical labs, strong cGMP knowledge, and hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC and mass spectrometry, with a bias for meticulous data governance and

Qualifications

• Experience with method qualification/validation and related investigations.
• Strong data integrity and cGMP awareness.
• Ability to document and review analytical data and reports.
• Familiarity with outsourcing testing oversight is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own QC analytical oversight across peptide API and sterile development programs.
• Develop and maintain specifications and test methods for API synthesis and sterile products.
• Plan and oversee method qualification and validation activities per ICH and USP.
• Lead OOS/OOT investigations and drive CAPAs.
• Ensure data integrity and documentation compliance.
• Manage contract testing laboratories and oversee outsourced testing.
• Support batch disposition and data packages for tech transfer.
• Author and review analytical SOPs and reports.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Engineering to align requirements.
