Job summary

Biogen in Cambridge, MA seeks a Senior Scientist for Parenteral Drug Product Development. You will design studies for parenteral formulations, lead sterile product development and tech transfer, and support GMP campaigns, validation, and regulatory submissions in a fast-paced matrix environment.

The role requires advanced degree with extensive experience in sterile drug product development, manufacturing operations, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to advance Biogen's pipeline.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Analytical Chemistry or related fields with 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
• OR MS with 8+ years of relevant experience; OR BS with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute formulation and process development studies for parenteral products.
• Lead sterile product development, optimization, and tech transfer.
• Provide technical support during GMP campaigns, validation, PPQ, and commercial manufacturing.
• Lead studies for process characterization, validation, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory and CDMOs.
