Job summary

Merck in the United States seeks a Senior Scientist to develop and apply mass spectrometry-based assays for biomarker discovery in preclinical neurodegenerative disease programs. • PhD with at least four years of postdoctoral or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and applies MS-based approaches for preclinical biomarker discovery and translational research.
• Qualification of LC-MS/MS-based quantitative assays.
• Collaborates with disease biology, translational medicine and data sciences teams to identify fluid biomarkers.
