Job summary
Scorpion Therapeutics in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Scientist, RCM Analytical Development to advance analytical development for cell therapy programs, focusing on lentiviral vectors (LVVs). You will develop and strengthen biophysical methods to characterize LVVs and interpret complex data for cross-functional audiences.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
- 6–8+ years’ experience characterizing and quantitatively analyzing lentiviral vectors.
- Ability to design experiments independently and interpret, document, and communicate results.
Responsibilities
- Advance analytical development for cell therapy programs, primarily lentiviral vectors (LVVs).
- Strengthen existing and establish new biophysical methods to characterize LVVs.
- Analyze, interpret, and clearly present complex datasets to technical and cross-functional audiences.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across RCM to troubleshoot, align on priorities, and support program execution.
- Author and review technical documentation (assay protocols, method development reports, data summaries).
- Maintain complete, timely, compliant electronic lab notebook records; support instrument upkeep; independently troubleshoot equipment and assays.
