Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences in the United States seeks a collaborative scientist to develop and characterize physiologically relevant iPSC-derived cellular and disease models, including mono-, co-, and tri-culture systems.

You will serve as a technical expert for the HCI platform, lead image acquisition, and develop quantitative data analysis to answer broad biological questions. Strong expertise in multicellular models is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with iPSC-derived cellular models and multicellular systems.
• Strong HCI platform expertise and image-analysis development.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior scientists.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and characterization of iPSC-derived models (mono-, co-, tri-culture).
• Develop and optimize cell-based assays and phenotypic readouts for therapeutics.
• Lead the high-content imaging platform (Operetta) including design and data analysis.
• Develop automated image-analysis pipelines (segmentation, classification, profiling).
• Provide training and technical support for HCI instrumentation and workflows.
• Independently design experiments, troubleshoot, interpret data, communicate results.
• Evaluate new cell models and imaging approaches to expand capabilities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to advance programs.
