Job summary

Scribe Therapeutics in Alameda, CA is seeking a Senior Scientist/Principal Scientist in In Vivo Pharmacology to advance CRISPR-based therapeutics from discovery through regulatory submission. Qualifications

• PhD degree in biology, pharmacology or related field with 2–4 years of post-graduation experience in industry or academia performing in-vivo experiments.
• Attention to detail and strong data analysis skills.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work with minimal direction to meet objectives and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the in vivo pharmacology aspect of multiple projects and provide in vivo physiology and pharmacology expertise.
• Coordinate and supervise study execution at external CROs.
• Develop and implement new animal models to support gene editing targets.
• Plan and conduct in vivo pharmacology studies including formulation and administration of gene editing therapeutics.
• Analyze data from in vivo studies and perform statistical analysis.
• Communicate experimental plans and data to cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to study reports, regulatory filings, and project presentations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of experiments (electronic lab notebook and study reports).
• Mentor early-career scientists on the team.
