Qualifications

• Doctoral degree with specialization in organic synthesis and related fields.
• Strong knowledge in organic synthesis and route design.

Responsibilities

• Consult literature and plan synthetic routes according to project needs.
• Perform chemical reactions, analyze data, and solve experimental problems.

Research Chemistry Services (RCS), with a R&D base worldwide, supports the research and development of new small molecule drugs from targets to pre-clinical drug candidates by continuously improving research capacity and efficiency, providing fast, flexible, reliable and high-quality services and solutions for global customers in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical-related industries, enabling customers to accelerate the research and innovation of new small molecule drugs, reducing R & D costs and benefiting patients with professional service teams, competitive technology empowerment platforms and customer-first service concepts.

Location: China (Nationwide)

Here, you will be engaged in the R & D and synthesis of small molecule new drugs. Through systematic training, you can deeply learn various organic reaction types, including hetero-cyclic synthesis, cross-coupling reaction, fluorine chemistry, sugar chemistry and nucleoside synthesis; you have the opportunity to contact the existing advanced technology platforms, such as targeted protein degradation, photo-chemistry, electro-chemistry, catalyst screening, flow chemistry, quantum chemical calculation and other world-leading technology platforms, as well as computer-aided drug design and other new technology R & D, leading the new trend of drug discovery. There is an opportunity to understand the process from the construction of items to the generation of candidate compounds in pharmaceutical chemical projects, and there is an opportunity to communicate and learn face to face with pharmaceutical chemical experts from multinational pharmaceutical enterprises.

Responsibilities

• According to the project needs, independently consult the literatures and plan the synthetic route;
• Be skilled in completing chemical reactions, scientifically analyzing and solving problems encountered in experiments;
• Solve the technical synthesis problems and develop new synthesis strategies and methods;
• Independent or leading R & D team to advance challenging projects and ensure project schedule;
• Accurately and completely write the test record and test report;
• Assist the superior to complete the project progress report and participate in the communication with customers;
• Guide and train young researchers to promote the scientific development and technological innovation of the team;
• Participate in the daily management of the laboratory and implement the provisions for intellectual property protection, safety and hygiene.

Job requirements

• Doctoral degree, research direction for organic synthesis, medicinal chemical synthesis, natural medicine chemistry, chemical pharmaceuticals, pesticide chemistry, sugar chemistry, nucleosides, sugar and lipid synthesis and other strong organic synthesis related specialties;
• Have solid professional knowledge, rich organic synthesis experience and excellent route design ability;
• Excellent independent thinking, problem solving and innovation capacity to solve highly complex chemical challenges;
• Have good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills;
• Have a positive attitude, sense of responsibility, pressure resistance and teamwork spirit.
