Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical technology, chemistry, science or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in formulation and laboratory analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on accurate documentation and data interpretation.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation and excipient applications a plus.
• Excellent presentation skills; ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute laboratory studies; analyze and interpret technical data.
• Develop and optimize formulations and processes; maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, Sales and other technical functions.
• Prepare technical protocols, reports, SOPs and work instructions.
• Carry out product testing with customers to support sales as needed.
• Provide guidance and support for interns as appropriate.
• Maintain safe working environment and proper lab safety practices.
• Keep lab equipment clean and in good order; manage inventory of supplies.
