Job description

Responsibilities

1. Support high-throughput, pre-formulation, pre-qualification, robustness, or admixture testing.
2. Process and document results following appropriate methods, protocols, and procedures.
3. Manage samples and monitor controlled temperature units.
4. Follow all laboratory safety and hygiene procedures.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or biologics testing labs.
• MS degree with 1+ years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or biologics testing labs.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with separations for large molecules.
• Experience analyzing biologics, including monoclonal antibodies or therapeutic proteins, using techniques such as:
• Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/UPLC): Protein A Titer, SEC, IEX, AEX, CEX, RP, HIC.
• Electrophoretic methods: CE-SDS, cIEF.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience with high-throughput liquid handling systems like Tecan, Bravo, Gilson, etc.
• Familiarity with compendial testing such as UV 280, pH, and physical observations.
• Ability to follow complex scientific protocols and procedures.
• Proficiency in making accurate reagent preparations.
• Good documentation practices using electronic lab notebooks (ELN).
• Knowledge of analytical software like SoftMax Pro and Empower.
• Understanding of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
