Job summary

GTT is seeking a Senior Scientist - HPLC in Thousand Oaks, CA for a 6-month contract. The role is hybrid onsite, with pay rate $45.00–$48.00 per hour (USD).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on analytical chemistry experience, especially in HPLC and small-molecule analysis, to develop methods and work within a collaborative team. Strong communication and data interpretation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Expertise in analytical method development within Analytical Chemistry.
• Prior experience with synthetic chemistry or synthetic product analysis.
• Experience with LC, GC or other small-molecule analytical techniques.
• Experience in organic/inorganic/synthetic chemistry.
• Strong hands-on experience with method development and execution.
• UHPLC method development and execution.
• GC method development and execution.
• Karl Fischer titration.
• Dissolution method development and execution.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, or monitor experiments; record data and ensure studies align with protocols and regulations.
• Follow established experimental designs to obtain reproducible results with limited supervision.
• Plan and analyze experiments; interpret data and communicate results to the team.
• Transfer methods from literature to the lab; develop new protocols with review.
• Engage coworkers in scientific discussions and communicate data and interpretation.
• Develop systems to ensure high-quality data and troubleshoot equipment.
• Contribute to reports, papers, and regulatory documents as needed.
• May train staff or supervise others; organize resources to complete tasks.
