Qualifications

• Strong information management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to share information clearly.
• Hands-on experience with LIMS platforms for sample management.
• Hands-on experience with automated liquid handling or acoustic dispensing platforms.
• Basic SQL skills; interest in data querying/reporting.
• Coursework or exposure in cheminformatics or scientific databases.
• Compound or biological sample management experience across modalities.
• Knowledge of logistics for research materials.
• Awareness of controlled substance handling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support manual and automated workflows from registration to powder handling and library preparation.
• Design and enhance workflows for sample storage and handling operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; log activities and escalate issues.
• Develop understanding of sample types and their handling requirements.
• Engage with scientific teams to align sample requests with project goals.
• Serve as steward for inventory and data governance across GSM LIMS platforms.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and dispensing issues; apply problem-solving skills.
• Develop and validate updates to software, hardware, and procedures.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound samples and deviations.
• Coordinate sample shipments across the GSM network with proper documentation.
