Job summary

Flagship Labs 119 Inc. (FL119) in Cambridge, MA seeks a (Senior) Scientist in Computational Neuroscience to build scalable neural modeling pipelines and apply machine learning to large-scale neural datasets.

The candidate should have a PhD/ MSc in a related field, 2+ years postdoc/industry experience, strong Python skills, and experience with ML frameworks. On-site role with international applicants welcome.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in a relevant field such as Computational Neuroscience, Physics, Applied Math, CS or AI/ML.
• 2+ years of full-time industry or postdoc experience for PhD holders (5+ years for MSc).
• Strong experience in computational neural modeling.
• Hands-on ML or statistics applied to time-series neural data.
• Proficiency with Python and scientific libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas).

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end computational pipelines for biophysical neuron and neural population modeling.
• Apply ML and statistical inference to construct and analyze bio-realistic networks from neural data.
• Proactively shape the technical roadmap with prototype evaluation in collaboration with the team.
