Job summary

MESO SCALE DIAGNOSTICS, LLC. is seeking a research scientist to develop and execute basic and applied R&D in electrochemistry, materials, and photophysics. You will contribute to product development, methods, reagents, and instrumentation for life science and clinical applications, collaborating across interdisciplinary teams and supervising others as needed.

The role requires Ph.D. or advanced degree with strong independent research experience, extensive lab skills, and ability to interpret

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s with extensive independent research/ development experience.
• Minimum four years of laboratory experience with hands-on abilities.
• Experience in conducting materials, electrochemistry, materials science, interfacial chemistry, inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry, or organometallic chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret complex experiments for R&D and product development.
• Formulate and synthesize materials; handle moisture- or air-sensitive compounds.
• Prepare procedures and maintain notebooks; generate batch/test records and reports.
• Analyze data with software; include coding for data analysis (Python, MATLAB, R, ImageJ).
• Maintain instruments and troubleshoot experiments; present findings to teams and customers.
• Lead or coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
