Job summary

BPS Bioscience Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Associate I, Cell-Based Manufacturing, to support production of cell-based reagents, media, and cell lines used in assay manufacturing.

You will handle reagents, perform routine mammalian cell culture, banking, and quality control testing while adhering to ISO 9001:2015 standards. The role requires strong documentation, careful execution of procedures, and effective teamwork with QC, QA, and R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, cell culture, reagent production, or assay production environment.
• Basic understanding of aseptic technique and laboratory safety practices.
• Ability to follow written procedures, accurately complete documentation, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and formulate reagents and media according to approved procedures.
• Perform routine mammalian cell culture activities including thawing, feeding, passaging, and expansion.
• Support master and working cell bank generation and banking.
• Perform QC testing on media, reagents, and cell lines; document results.
• Complete batch records and labels; ensure traceability and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following 5S and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Collaborate with QC, QA, and R&D to support product quality and process transfer.
