Job summary

Trinity Consultants is seeking a Senior Scientist for our Northwest team to lead biological surveys, data analysis, and regulatory compliance efforts. The role mentors field staff, develops technical documents, and contributes to business development while serving as a subject-matter expert.

Based in Gig Harbor or Mount Vernon, the position emphasizes collaboration with regulators, tribes, and clients, with remote/hybrid options and a strong focus on regulatory standards and scientific rigor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a biological field-oriented program is required.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in biological resource surveys and analyses.
• Strong technical writing and regulatory experience.
• Experience in the Pacific Northwest is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex biological surveys and data collection.
• Train and manage field crews and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory documents.
• Analyze datasets and perform advanced statistical analyses.
• Communicate findings to clients, regulators, and tribal representatives.
