Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Scientist, Bioconjugates, Downstream Processing in Malvern, PA, to lead and perform development activities for antibodies and bioconjugates including tLNP, ADC, AOC, and APC within the API-Large Molecule group.

You will design and execute development studies, optimize process steps, and transfer technology to partners while maintaining data integrity and documentation. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• PhD/MS/BS with extensive post-degree experience in downstream processing and bioconjugates.
• Hands-on lab experience in antibodies/recombinant protein purification and bioconjugates.
• Strong organizational, data-recording, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead experimental design and execute planned experiments for target process scale.
• Define conditions and ranges for critical process parameters across chromatography, filtration, and conjugation steps.
• Record, analyze, and report data; draft technical documents and support technology transfers.
• Collaborate in a team environment and meet project timelines; occasional weekend work may be required.
