Job summary
Johnson & Johnson in Malvern, PA is seeking a Senior Scientist, Bioconjugates, Downstream Processing to lead development activities for antibodies and bioconjugates such as tLNP, ADC, AOC, and APC within the API-Large Molecule group. You will design experiments, optimize chromatography, filtration, and conjugation steps, and transfer technologies to partners.
You will collaborate across teams, document data, and ensure project milestones are met, with occasional weekend work required.
Qualifications
- PhD with 3+ years post-doctoral experience or MS with 12+ years or BS with 15+ years required.
- Experience in downstream processing and purification of antibodies/recombinant protein therapeutics including conjugation.
- Analytical method development for in-process methods preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead experimental design and optimize steps for target process scale (lab to pilot).
- Design and execute development studies for chromatography, filtration, and conjugation.
- Record, analyze, and report data; prepare technical documents and transfer tech to partners.
- Collaborate in a team while meeting project timelines and objectives.
