Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Scientist to join our team! In this role you will get to you will get toperform a variety of environmental analytical data tasks by applying data validation and/or data management techniques.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Working with an amazing team of experienced scientists and project staff.
  • Preparing data tables, data quality summary reports, and project planning documents for projects.
  • Coordinating with laboratories to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Receiving, tracking, and reviewing laboratory data deliverables.
  • Performing data validation in accordance with the project-required guidance documents using software like FUDSChem and ADR.
  • Performing data management using software like EQuIS or Microsoft Access.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Refer to Job Description for Education and Experience Requirements.
  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry methods, data quality assurance and quality control, and/or data management.
  • Familiarity with environmental sampling and testing techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Knowledge of, or experience with FUDSChem, EQuIS, and ADR.
  • Background in both organic and inorganic laboratory methodology.
