Qualifications

  • Design, develop and optimize high-throughput MS proteomics workflows.
  • Execute automated sample preparation and LC-MS/MS analyses across proteomics assays.
  • Collaborate with chemistry, biology and disease-area teams as SME.
  • Perform data analysis to reveal mechanism of action, target engagement and selectivity.
  • Present findings at internal and external meetings and communicate plans and results.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of experiments, protocols and analyses.

We are seeking a motivated Senior Scientist in mass spectrometrybased proteomics to join our talentedand collaborativeteam in Thousand Oaks, CA. In this vital role, you will deliver critical insights to support target identification and drug discovery, while advancing innovative proteomics platform technologies.

You will contribute to bothpipeline advancement and screening platform innovationby developing and implementingcutting-edge, high-throughput proteomics approaches. This includes executing automated sample preparation and mass spectrometry analyses across a range of assays, as well as designing,optimizing, and continuouslyenhancing next-generation screening workflows and analytical platforms.

This role requires hands-on experienceoperatingand troubleshooting high-throughput mass spectrometry systems. Your work will play a key role in enabling innovative drug screening strategies, accelerating discovery efforts, and strengthening pipeline support.

  • Design,develop, andoptimizehigh-throughputmass spectrometrybased proteomics workflows and screening platforms to accelerate drug discovery
  • Execute automated sample preparation and LC-MS/MS analysis across abroadrange of high-throughput proteomicsassays
  • Collaborate closely with chemistry, biology, and disease area teams as a technical and scientific subject matter expert, contributing to data-driven decision-making
  • Perform data analysis and generate insights into mechanism of action, target engagement, and selectivity using proteomicsapproaches
  • Present research findings at internal and external meetings and effectively communicate plans, results, and analyses to cross-functional teams
  • Maintainaccurateand organized documentationof experiments, protocols, and analyses
What We Expect Of You

Basic Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) with relevant experienceOR
  • Masters degree and 4 years ofdirectly relatedexperienceOR
  • Bachelors degree and 6 years ofdirectly relatedexperience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in proteomics,chemoproteomics, biochemistry, chemistry, ora relateddiscipline
  • Strongtrack recordin developing mass spectrometrybased proteomics assays,operatingadvanced platforms (e.g., Orbitrap Astral), and analyzing proteomics data
  • Experience with sample preparation miniaturization and automation platforms
  • 3+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated innovation inassay,method, or platformdevelopment
  • Strong quantitative and computationalexpertiseinhigh-dimensionalproteomicsdata analysis
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly integrated, collaborative team environment, with excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, and a proventrack recordof producing reliable and reproducible results.
  • Knowledge of targeted protein degradation or E3 ligase biology is a plus

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
