Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Genetics, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences or closely related field.
• Master's degree with significant experience in scientific research administration may be considered.
• Experience with NIH-funded grants and sponsored research administration.
• Experience coordinating complex multi-investigator research programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrative and scientific contact for multiple research programs and complex multi-investigator initiatives.
• Coordinate project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and reporting for funded research programs.
• Coordinate scientific meetings, advisory committees, program reviews, and working groups.
• Collaborate with Mount Sinai Innovation Partners to coordinate collaborations among investigators and external partners.
• Assist investigators with scientific preparation and submission of federal and non-federal grant applications.
• Coordinate preparation of RPPRs, Just-in-Time submissions, supplements, and sponsor-required documentation.
• Prepare data request submissions and annual progress reports to BioMe and public repositories.
• Work with grants administration teams to monitor budgets and ensure sponsor compliance.
• Prepare regulatory documentation including IRB, IACUC, eSafety, biosafety submissions.
• Track protocol approvals and continuing reviews.
• Coordinate research operations including equipment, facilities, and service contracts.
• Develop SOPs and workflows to improve efficiency and compliance.
