Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Position Overview

Global Medical Communications group seeks a (fully-remote) Senior Scientific Director or Medical Director with experience in medical publications. The role involves managing a pharma client account, leading a team of writers, and defining and executing strategic communications projects and publication deliverables.

This account is publication-heavy, with some commercial and medical affairs work. You will provide strategic medical communication recommendations that support brand strategies, publication planning, and publication strategies.

You will oversee junior writers and review their work, requiring experience in team management within a Medical Communications Agency environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong pubs and content development experience, with the ability to design and implement publication strategies.

An advanced Medical or Science degree is required. Experience in Oncology and certifications like CMPP are preferred.
