We’re seeking a Senior Scientific Director & Team Lead to provide strategic scientific leadership across complex, high‑profile accounts while guiding and developing a talented team of medical writers.

Salary

Base pay: $125,600.00/yr – $163,300.00/yr

Annual bonus available. Total compensation package includes benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead Scientific Strategy & Client Partnerships: act as the scientific lead across accounts, build strong relationships, drive strategic planning.
• Develop High‑Quality Scientific Content: apply expertise, create and review content, contribute to strategy and presentations.
• Manage & Develop Your Team: line manage 4–6 writers, coaching, training, performance, culture, project execution.
• Support Business Growth: contribute scientific expertise to proposals, pitches, identify opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in medical communications (publications preferred).
• Scientific expertise across therapeutic areas.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
• Proficient with reference management, Datavision, Zinc, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat.
• Line management experience, global or remote teams.
• Excellent communication, project leadership, stakeholder management.
• Collaborative mindset, thrive in global multidisciplinary environment.
