Pfizer Oncology is building an AI-first R&D engine where artificial intelligence shapes how medicines are discovered, developed, and delivered. We seek a Scientific AI Engineer to design and build end-to-end AI solutions that impact Oncology R&D decision-making.

In this role you will partner with Oncology scientists and product leaders to prototype and deliver AI-enabled insights with speed, rigor, and real-world usability, owning solutions from framing to outputs and collaborating with domain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 6+ years of relevant work experience, Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 1+ year preferred.
• Experience building applied AI/ML solutions in life sciences or healthcare.
• Strong hands-on programming in Python and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and prototype AI/ML solutions for oncology discovery and development.
• Apply analyses to multimodal datasets (molecular, clinical, real-world).
• Own solutions end-to-end from framing to outputs.
• Collaborate with domain experts to ensure scientific grounding and relevance.
• Iterate prototypes based on user feedback and scientific needs.
• Contribute to solution design discussions and document methods and limitations.
