SiSTEM is looking for experienced science tutors to provide focused instruction to students in grades K–12. Tutors will help students build understanding and confidence in science and can specialize in various subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and test preparation.

The ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience and strong communication skills. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact while setting your own rates and being matched with families who value expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching, tutoring, or academic mentoring experience in science.
• Deep expertise in at least one of the science subjects listed.
• Experience with motivated students in honors, Pre-AP, or AP settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused science instruction for K–12 students.
• Help students develop deeper conceptual understanding.
• Align sessions with each student’s broader academic roadmap.
