Job summary

SiSTEM is looking for experienced science tutors in Spring, Texas, to work one-on-one with K-12 students and help them excel in their science studies. The role requires at least 3 years of experience and expertise in specific science subjects.

As a tutor, you will provide personalized instruction, encourage scientific reasoning, and help students gain confidence in their abilities. Tutors have the flexibility to set their own rates and manage their schedules while having access to SiSTEM's tools and resources.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching, tutoring, or academic mentoring experience in science.
• Deep expertise in at least one of the science subjects listed.
• Experience working in honors, Pre-AP, AP settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused science instruction to students in grades K–12.
• Help students develop deeper conceptual understanding.
• Align sessions with each student's academic roadmap.
