Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Special Security Officer (SSO) for Davis Monthan AFB in Arizona. The SSO will oversee the full range of SCI security duties, administer the SCI program, and provide guidance on personnel, physical, and information security within ACC Wing SCI policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining directives, safeguarding SCI, conducting investigations, certifying visitor access, updating DISS, and preparing SCIF accreditation paperwork as required.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required on day one.
• 4+ years of SCI experience across security disciplines.
• Knowledge of ICD 704/705 and DoDM 5105.21 directives.
• Ability to assess risk and implement mitigations in security programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SCI directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines.
• Ensure SCI is properly safeguarded, transmitted, and destroyed.
• Investigate SCI infractions and report findings to Chief SSO.
• Certify SCI visitor clearances and manage access controls.
• Maintain DISS records and provide SCI security guidance.
• Prepare accreditation paperwork for SCIFs and conduct self-inspections.
