Qualifications

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related required.
• Minimum four years of accounting or financial support experience; government/district experience preferred.
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Performs account analysis, reconciliation, and financial review for funds and programs.
• Prepares and maintains financial statements, schedules, reports, and journals per GAAP/USFR.
• Researches discrepancies and implements corrective actions and process improvements.
• Monitors expenditures and revenues to ensure compliance with laws and district requirements.
• Develops internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure audit readiness.
• Assists with audits and prepares schedules and documentation for auditor inquiries.
• Prepares financial projections and reports to support leadership decision-making.
• Provides guidance on financial procedures and reporting to departments and staff.
• Leads or participates in training on financial procedures and compliance.
