Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Scheduling Senior Coordinator within the Revenue Cycle. This role supports patients and clinicians by coordinating scheduling, registration, and financial counseling across multiple care lines, including Surgery, Interventional Radiology, and Cardiology.

Proficiency across Cadence, Optime, Ambra, Aria, IHIS tools is expected. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with at least two years in patient access or related fields;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2.0 years of experience in patient access or similar field.
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree and 2+ years in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries, procedures, and appointments and ensure accuracy.
• Collect accurate demographic and insurance information to support clinical and financial needs.
• Provide revenue cycle support for multiple appointments and tests.
• Assist with training and support for new staff and interns.
• Coordinate with multiple EMR platforms and payor portals to support care and billing.
