Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks an experienced Scheduler 3 to design and maintain detailed, resource-loaded schedules for a defense and secure technology program in Elkridge, MD. You will integrate individual project schedules into a Master Program Schedule and align them with IMPs.

Responsibilities include using MS Project or Primavera, linking schedules to programs, and coordinating weekly scheduling meetings with leadership to mitigate constraints.

Qualifications

• 12 years of scheduling experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules and Master Program Schedules using MS Project, Primavera, or program-mandated software.
• Link project schedules with overarching programs, Investment Portfolios, functional areas, and IMPs, tracking milestones, linkages, and dependencies.
• Define and implement schedule configuration, management, and version-control processes, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain the schedule build environment across staging, testing, deployment, and integration phases, including developing product build scripts.
• Facilitate weekly scheduling meetings with project leadership and operational teams.
• Coordinate cross-walks of milestones and interdependencies across functional areas such as engineering, manufacturing, testing, and quality control.
• Provide strategic recommendations to Program Managers regarding the allocation of management reserves to mitigate resource and schedule constraints.
