Facilitate schedule planning sessions with stakeholders to validate assumptions and align timelines. Integrate schedules across multiple projects into a cohesive program-level view.
Stakeholder Engagement Communicate schedule status, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders, including customers. Maintain ongoing collaboration with customers to ensure schedule validity and project readiness. Act as a key advisor to program leadership on timeline feasibility and execution strategy.
Forecasting & Analysis Develop forward-looking schedule forecasts and what-if scenarios to support decision-making. Analyze schedule performance metrics (e.g., baseline variance, forecast accuracy). Provide insights into delivery risk, capacity constraints, and timeline feasibility.
Schedule Reporting Perform critical path analysis, float assessment, and communicate schedule risks, dependencies, and trade-offs in a clear, actionable manner. Identify schedule risks, constraints, potential delays, and recommend corrective actions. Produce regular schedule status reports, dashboards, and executive-level summaries.
Risk & Change Management Support risk management by identifying schedule-related risks and developing mitigation strategies. Evaluate change requests for impact on timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation. Maintain schedule baselines and track deviations, ensuring proper documentation of changes.
Tooling & Data Management Leverage scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or similar tools) to maintain integrated schedules. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of schedule data across all projects. Support automation and continuous improvement of scheduling processes and reporting.
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related field. 7–10 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio scheduling/planning roles. Strong proficiency in scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
