Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scheduler in Annapolis Junction, MD to design, develop, and maintain resource-loaded schedules for complex systems. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure schedules are accurate and integrated across programs.

Required twelve years of scheduling experience on hardware/software programs, with advanced MS Project or Primavera skills. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s may reduce required experience.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years’ Scheduler experience in programs similar in scope and complexity.
• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience managing a schedule for an engineering program involving hardware and software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline is required; four (4) years of additional scheduling experience may substitute for the degree.
• Advanced MS Project or Primavera course completion and demonstrated experience with MS Project/Primavera.
• Salary range is $161k-$197k annually; compensation set based on experience and location.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules for implementation, developmental, and operational systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to keep schedules current and linked across programs.
• Use automated tools (MS Project, Primavera) to create and maintain Master Program Schedules and IMPs.
• Link project schedules with overarching programs, investments, and functional areas; track dependencies and status.
