Senior Scheduler

SUMMARY

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler with the ability to interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. The Senior Scheduling Engineer will oversee all planning and scheduling activities, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and confidentiality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee all planning and scheduling activities.
2. Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct scheduling efforts.
3. Implement corporate planning standards and ensure project compliance.
4. Supervise and coach the scheduling team and field personnel.
5. Foster teamwork and ensure resource availability.
6. Conduct performance evaluations and participate in hiring decisions.
7. Develop leadership and career growth opportunities.
8. Implement safety programs and manage site relationships and logistics.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of six years of construction experience or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of scheduling concepts, practices, and company software.
• Understanding of construction practices, project sequencing, and project management basics.
• Proficiency in 4D visual planning, cost, and resource-loaded schedules.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and travel as needed.
• Valid driver’s license.

COMPENSATION

The base pay range is $97,600 to $146,400, with higher ranges for specific locations. Compensation is based on experience and skills and includes eligibility for an incentive plan.
