Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our team. You will develop and update both summary and detailed schedules for capital projects, coordinating with Owners, design consultants and contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 5+ years of scheduling with P6. Energy sector experience preferred; strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of scheduling experience with P6 on capital projects.
• Energy sector experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates summary-level and detailed schedules.
• Creates design, procurement, construction, and post-construction activity lists.
• Identifies milestones, approvals, and long-lead items.
• Determines schedule logic and constraints after stakeholder discussions.
• Develops activity durations based on production rates and manpower.
• Allocates resources and creates cash-flow reports and histograms.
• Evaluates critical/near-crit path activity sequences.
• Monitors progress via site inspections.
• Identifies schedule changes and trends; suggests corrective actions or recovery plans.
• Reviews schedules from architects and contractors.
• Prepares post-construction as-built schedules and lessons learned.
