Job summary

MANTECH in Laurel, MD is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our team. This role designs, develops, and maintains detailed resource-loaded schedules for implementation, developmental and operational systems, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with program milestones.

You will define and implement schedule management processes, manage schedule builds, testing, deployment and integration, and establish version control practices.

Qualifications

• 8 years related scheduling experience with a Bachelor's degree; 12 years without degree.
• Demonstrated experience with MS Project and/or Primavera.

Job description

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Scheduler to join our team in Laurel, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining detailed resource loaded schedules for Implementation, developmental and operational systems.
• Assist in defining and implementing schedule software (MS Project, Primavera, or specific program mandated software, etc.) management processes and procedures.
• Implement schedule control processes, policies and procedures.
• Maintain the schedule product build, staging, testing, deployment and integration.
• Develop schedule version control processes, policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed on development or operational schedule development and implementation projects.

Minimum/Basic Qualifications:

• 8 years’ related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline; an additional 4 years of related experience might be substituted for a degree or 6 years’ related experience with a Master’s degree
• Demonstrated experience with MS Project and or Primavera

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing a schedule for an engineering program involving hardware and software development and multiple sub-components using MS Project or Primavera.
• Certification in either the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) or Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) is required.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
