Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
What This Job Involves:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and track project budgets.
- Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
- Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to gather and analyze schedule-related information
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues
- Perform critical path analysis and risk assessments to ensure project timelines are realistic and achievable
- Generate and distribute regular schedule updates and progress reports to key stakeholders
- Conduct schedule impact analyses for proposed changes and develop mitigation strategies
Mentor and guide junior schedulers, fostering their professional development
- Implement and maintain scheduling best practices and standards across the organization
- Participate in project meetings and provide expert scheduling insights and recommendations
- Identify and analyse potential risks that may impact project deliverables, timelines, or budgets.
- Research local, national and internal delivery times
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor their implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in project scheduling
- Advanced proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification or equivalent is preferred
- Expert-level knowledge of scheduling techniques and critical path method (CPM)
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex information
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Adaptability to changing project requirements and deadlines
