Job summary

Micron Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Photolithography Scanner Metrology Engineer to develop and optimize metrology solutions enabling world-class lithography performance at the Boise site.

You will work on overlay and alignment accuracy, leveraging diffraction-based overlay techniques to ensure precise pattern placement in DRAM manufacturing. The role requires 5+ years in semiconductor metrology, hands-on KLA tool experience, and a willingness to travel for onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in semiconductor metrology, overlay, or lithography metrology systems
• Hands-on experience with KLA metrology tools and overlay techniques
• Strong understanding of alignment and overlay fundamentals in advanced lithography
• Experience troubleshooting overlay/metrology issues in a fab/manufacturing env.
• Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding/training

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and sustain scanner metrology solutions for advanced photolithography
• Improve overlay performance, alignment accuracy, and process control via data analysis
• Use KLA metrology systems and diffraction-based overlay to monitor lithography performance
• Collaborate with process, equipment, and integration teams to resolve overlay issues
• Perform root cause analysis on overlay errors and process variability while improving SPC metrics
