Base pay range

$65.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Remote EST hours

6+ months contract role focused on performance data. Key skills include AWS, Spark, Scala, and Snowflake, used for calculating performance metrics.

Team consists of 10 Developers and 1 analyst.

Interview process involves two rounds; initial screening with our resource.

The system is Java-based, already built; requires expertise in Spark, Scala, AWS, Snowflake, and broad Data Engineering skills.

Responsibilities include using Spark and Scala to process, join, and transform data for performance calculations, troubleshooting issues, working with Snowflake and Oracle databases, and participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of Data Engineering ETL experience
• 4+ years of advanced AWS experience (EMR, EC2, S3)
• 2+ years of hands-on Scala experience
• Proficiency in Snowflake, Spark, Scala, and Java reading skills
• Strong SQL skills; Oracle knowledge is a plus
• Control-M or similar scheduler experience is desirable
