Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Scala) based in the United States to design and build scalable backend services and distributed systems for fintech solutions. The role emphasizes functional programming, data streaming, and cloud infrastructure using AWS and GCP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with functional programming languages (Scala, Haskell, Clojure, or Common Lisp).
• 3+ years of cloud experience (AWS and GCP).
• Experience with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver cloud-based applications on AWS/GCP.
• Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to architecture decisions.
