Job summary

CS Ladies is seeking a Senior Scala Engineer to design, develop, test, optimize, and maintain scalable software and distributed systems using Scala. You will translate complex business requirements into robust backend solutions while applying functional programming and concurrent design principles.

Qualifications

Strong experience in Scala production systems.
Deep understanding of Scala syntax and functional programming.
Experience with Scala 2 and/or Scala 3 in production environments.
Experience with immutable programming and type-safe design.
Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade software using Scala.
Build scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable Scala applications.
Develop backend services, APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
Develop RESTful APIs and service interfaces.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Data Engineers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Security Engineers, and other stakeholders.
