Qualifications

• The candidate has completed a scaffold builder apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of scaffold building experience with design, assembly, and safety knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and scaffold plans.
• Knowledge of scaffolding materials, types, and applications.
• Understanding OSHA standards and safety regulations for scaffolding.
• Physical ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and work in varied weather.
• Attention to detail to ensure secure, compliant scaffolding.
• Strong communication and teamwork to coordinate with trades.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot on-site.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Certifications in scaffold safety or related trades (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and dismantle scaffolding according to blueprints and safety standards.
• Ensure scaffolding is secure and properly supported throughout construction.
• Inspect scaffolding systems before, during, and after installation for safety.
• Set up and operate lifting equipment to move scaffolding materials.
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet schedule.
• Maintain scaffolding tools and perform routine maintenance.
• Follow project timelines and dispose of waste properly.
• Participate in safety meetings and training to stay current.
