Responsibilities

• Carry/install/erect scaffolds on customer sites.
• Load/unload trucks in the warehouse.
• Assembly and disassembly of platforms.
• Deliver loads including climbing onto flat bed trucks.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolds safely with the team.

Skills

Overview

Sky Climber Access Solutions is looking for a Scaffold Builder in our Houston area location.

MUST NOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS!!!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Carrying / installing / erecting rigging suspended and supported scaffold on customer sites
• Loading / unloading trucks in warehouse
• Hoist, assembly, and disassembly of platforms
• Uncoiling and lowering both electrical cord and wire ropes
• Deliveries – including loading and unloading of vehicle climbing onto and off flat bed trucks
• Work with team to safely and efficiently erect and dismantle various types of scaffolds
• Complete required job site and internal paperwork requirements daily
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Have the ability to carry two 50# weights at one time
• Be comfortable with physical work that requires climbing stairs and ladders frequently
• Be comfortable working at heights
• Extensive experience in erecting swing and supported scaffolds
• Bilingual a plus
• Good working knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding scaffolding
• Minimum 2 years of experience building various scaffolding types at a reputable company

Hours – M-F – 7am – 4pm (Hours will vary by workload)Position is Hourly Non-Exempt
