City of Aurora seeks a SCADA OT Systems Engineer Senior to manage and optimize its SCADA/OT infrastructure for water and wastewater operations in Aurora, Colorado. The role emphasizes OT governance, change control, and security compliance to keep critical systems stable.

The candidate will lead OT initiatives, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver reliable SCADA services and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience with SCADA/OT environments and Windows server ecosystems.
• Endpoint hardening and system security knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Advanced administration and optimization of hosts and servers in Windows Server environments.
• Design, implement, and administer SCADA systems and OT infrastructure.
• Perform root-cause analysis of service interruptions and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain backups and a maintenance program for SCADA data and security systems.
• Collaborate with staff, project teams, consultants, and vendors on design/implementation.
