Job summary

Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc. is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer to design, develop, and deploy modern SCADA and BMS solutions. You will own core SCADA functionality, contribute to technical standards, and support projects from design to long-term maintenance.

Responsibilities include configuring Ignition Perspective views, building tag structures, alarms, and reports, and providing commissioning and field support as needed. Collaboration with project teams and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ignition Perspective and industrial SCADA systems.
• Background in HVAC/building automation controls and BMS integration.
• Strong scripting or software development skills (Python, Java, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Ignition Perspective views using standards and reusable components.
• Develop, maintain, and test UDTs, tag structures, and tag providers for PLCs and field devices.
• Configure alarms, trends, historian tags, and reports to meet project requirements.
• Conduct commissioning, FAT/SAT, and provide on-site or remote support for SCADA/BMS deployments.
